Cao Si Guang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ivan Chiuzbaian made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Dacian Tilea got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Grigore Maghiran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Maghiran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Vedillo made a kick off. Emil Wielopolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Atalan Cebeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yılmaz Başdemir in the 52nd minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, one of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-:s Ivan Chiuzbaian showed great skill when he stopped Folke Malmström:s penalty. In the 65th minute Yılmaz Başdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Atalan Cebeci to make any attempt to save it. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Björn Jernberg was substituted for Stasio Bienienda. Zhao Sen Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Atalan Cebeci made a huge save. Atalan Cebeci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The RED KHAGAN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
