Eusebiu Crăciunaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Champions Iasi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franck Tkint was slow to take the kick. During this time FC aDeX's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC aDeX's corner Xesus Barrieta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rouven Nussli quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Zăreanu got free with Matei Oltean in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eusebiu Crăciunaș hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Martin Rana made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Champions Iasi's Rouven Nussli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
