Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonardo Trancoso got the match started through his kick off. Tiberiu Caramarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 11th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 18th minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tiberiu Caramarin came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Caramarin couldn't finish the play. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Seremet in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Tiberiu Caramarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of MIT booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Bengt-Arne Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Caramarin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Marcus Ekrot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Bengt-Arne Haglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calistrat Madgearu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Haglund came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Bengt-Arne Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The corner led Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso to fire away a dangerous shot which Calistrat Madgearu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mats Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Calistrat Madgearu was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Tiberiu Caramarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiberiu Caramarin was the one to do the kick off. After 58 minutes of play, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 61st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Vykans Vikingar's corner Hílton Souza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Calistrat Madgearu quite easily take care of the ball. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Banu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vykans Vikingar's goalie prevented a goal. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tiberiu Caramarin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Ekrot was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74th minute Bengt-Arne Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, MIT's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdi Revis. In the 79thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIT's Calistrat Madgearu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave MIT a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romeo Gherghescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot. 5-1. MIT's Aurel Buzea was substituted for Florin Seremet. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot.
