The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baturay Zaim in the 2nd minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Lukas Goretzka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's Folke Malmström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Baturay Zaim took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Rotariu. David Rotariu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Kemal Deren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Todor to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baturay Zaim got free with David Rotariu in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Yılmaz Başdemir made a precise shot to the right of David Rotariu. PoWer SC 2K5's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 65 minutes, Hector Todor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PoWer SC 2K5 and the RED KHAGAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Zvonimir Prestin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atalan Cebeci was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Wim Overath kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jan Kimmich hit a great ball. Yılmaz Başdemir struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. David Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED KHAGAN. Cao Si Guang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
