Traian Traian started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Stelian Murgu hit a great ball. Visti Hjelmstoft got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Traian Traian. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. Genaro Montez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gong Qi Fan went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Genaro Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Fotbal Club Vaslui defense, Gong Qi Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Montez. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Montez should have stopped the shot. Traian Traian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Visti Hjelmstoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Elmhuus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Traian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gong Qi Fan in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Wigghers to maneuver through the defense. If Traian Traian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 38th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Genaro Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Murgu in the 39th minute. Wellington Neves scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Elmhuus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Traian Traian struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Nils Elmhuus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fotbal Club Vaslui. Genaro Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Playa Malvín were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gong Qi Fan to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvise Catapano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Montez having to interfere. In the 55th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Gică Hăulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Traian in the 60th minute of play. Genaro Montez made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Stelian Murgu sent off a good shot on target. Gong Qi Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Montez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcu Piţurcă was substituted for Gică Hăulică. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stelian Murgu was slow to take the kick. During this time Playa Malvín's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Quinto Ampudia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Montez was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mihnea Stanca got a free kick in the 79th minute. Fotbal Club Vaslui made a substitution. Matías Azevedo replaced Traian Traian. Quinto Ampudia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genaro Montez came out and tried to block the shot, but Quinto Ampudia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 93rd minute. Playa Malvín's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
