With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Traian in the 16th managed to get into a good position. Genaro Montez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiberiu Caramarin took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Montez. Genaro Montez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Traian Traian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters rose to their feet, but Traian Traian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calistrat Madgearu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 35 in the game by Traian Traian from a close distance when the talented Calistrat Madgearu managed to make a qualified save. MIT's players were relieved.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiberiu Caramarin to make the kick off. Visti Hjelmstoft hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Traian, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Florin Seremet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Montez having to interfere. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcu Piţurcă was substituted for Gică Hăulică. Ivan Vâtcă made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nicodim Orășan however managed to control. Genaro Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 81st minute of play. Tiberiu Caramarin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Fotbal Club Vaslui made a substitution. Matías Azevedo replaced Traian Traian. MIT's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. Tiberiu Caramarin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Genaro Montez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 92nd minute. MIT's Aurel Buzea was substituted for Florin Seremet. In the 95th minute of the game Wellington Neves made a throw-in which Javier Montes played forward. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MIT were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
