An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 17th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. The supporters of MIT booed when Silver Squad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Radzyminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Caramarin got free with Waud De Geyter in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin made a precise shot to the right of Waud De Geyter. Silver Squad AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Tiberiu Caramarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Waud De Geyter made a huge save. Damazy Radzyminski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Carberry to strike the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Bucataru was slow to take the kick. During this time MIT's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MIT's corner Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waud De Geyter quite easily take care of the ball. Tiberiu Caramarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waud De Geyter having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MIT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Silver Squad AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
