After 3 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Piţurcă. Genaro Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loid De Keuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Traian Traian might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waud De Geyter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Traian Traian ran back to his position shaking his head. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Traian, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Toader Muncelean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Traian Traian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Traian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 24th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Genaro Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Traian Traian came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fotbal Club Vaslui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Traian couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Silver Squad AFC booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Stanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Genaro Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 34th minute of play. Traian Traian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Traian in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Teodor Huștiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fotbal Club Vaslui and the Silver Squad AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Teodor Huștiu got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Traian in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. Frans Van Caubergen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Genaro Montez came out and tried to block the shot, but Frans Van Caubergen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 68th minute. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Azevedo in the 73rd minute of play. If Marcu Piţurcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Silver Squad AFC's Genaro Montez threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damazy Radzyminski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teodor Huștiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waud De Geyter didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fotbal Club Vaslui's Matías Azevedo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Genaro Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 97th minute of play. Fotbal Club Vaslui were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
