Primitivo Grau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. After 8 minutes of play, PoWer SC 2K5's Hector Todor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Chiuzbaian was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Rotariu. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 25th minute. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when İlhami Akyazıcı came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Di Piazza kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leroy Kluttig in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Chiuzbaian saved Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Lukas Goretzka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PoWer SC 2K5's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Goretzka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leroy Kluttig made a kick off. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Maghiran didn't get a good kick on the ball. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Rotariu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Zhao Sen Yang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. David Rotariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Rotariu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zhao Sen Yang went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Patrick Middendorf got a free kick in the 76th minute. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 78th minute of play. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Grau in the 80th minute of the match. PoWer SC 2K5's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When Zhao Sen Yang fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s protests and gave Zhao Sen Yang a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zhao Sen Yang hit a great ball. PoWer SC 2K5's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
