RED KHAGAN's Yılmaz Başdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 played minutes RED KHAGAN got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal Deren. RED KHAGAN's Yılmaz Başdemir was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. RED KHAGAN's Atalan Cebeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loid De Keuster in the 20th minute of play. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Baturay Zaim sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute RED KHAGAN were awarded a corner. Folke Malmström went to the cornerflag to take it. Waud De Geyter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yılmaz Başdemir in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Carberry came free, but Atalan Cebeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Carberry in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atalan Cebeci saved RED KHAGAN from getting behind. Atalan Cebeci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Baturay Zaim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yılmaz Başdemir in the 43rd minute of play. The corner ended in Yılmaz Başdemir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Pereira got free with Waud De Geyter in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Vedillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Sebastian Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atalan Cebeci made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Benjamin Carberry sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Loid De Keuster kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atalan Cebeci. That made the score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. Waud De Geyter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturay Zaim in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Fryderyk Mondrowski got a free kick in the 62nd minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Silver Squad AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
