The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Lehior got free with Máté Márton in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Máté Márton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Sancho in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Cordareo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Forros Fantásticos AC's zone, Damaso Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Cordareo came out of the goal and Damaso Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Wu Hong Ning in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Forros Fantásticos AC's Jakub Wawrzyniak. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Sancho was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Forros Fantásticos AC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Romeo Nabar hit a great ball. Robustiano Cordareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Sancho got free with Robustiano Cordareo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute of the match Congo Bongo got a corner. Forros Fantásticos AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franz Beckenbauer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Forros Fantásticos AC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Congo Bongo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romeo Nabar took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Juan Mazuste managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 74th minute Godofredo Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Márton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Lehior in the 80th minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Máté Márton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Congo Bongo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máté Márton should have stopped the shot. Congo Bongo made a substitution. Sergio Austin replaced Kaj-Åke Kaká. Forros Fantásticos AC's Candido Artaldo was substituted for Filip Geambașu. Congo Bongo's Arnaldo Oidor was substituted for Iker Atarrabi. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Forros Fantásticos AC. Romeo Nabar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Máté Márton. 2-0. Forros Fantásticos AC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Congo Bongo for a fine match.
