With a little luck, Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon got control of the ball when Kip William tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Kip William made a precise shot to the right of Lázaro Colon. Juniors FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip William in the 23rd minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Aritza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of La Acade booed when Juniors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Frasco came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kip William had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip William in the 61st minute of play. La Acade's Leonard Lamczyk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduardo Gervaso in the 63 minute of the game. Lázaro Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kip William in the 64th minute of play. If Kip William had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. La Acade's Teófilo Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Eduardo Gervaso got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Felipe Saturnin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon. Lázaro Colon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Acade's David Abaurre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduardo Gervaso in the 94 minute of the game. After 96 played minutes Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Lepper. The La Acade fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when La Acade's Felipe Saturnin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. La Acade's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
