Codruț Domuță started the match with the kick off. In the 7th match minute, Brujas KV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torrey Molloy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Lawrence in the 13th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Petruț Dicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Hong Yao Peng got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Benjamin Ivens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The KяαdivÄch3 FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when KяαdivÄch3 FC's Virgilio Lawrence looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, KяαdivÄch3 FC's Benjamin Ivens got control of the ball when Renato Portalupi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Brujas KV's zone, Ruperto Edorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Dicu came out of the goal and Ruperto Edorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Ivens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Portalupi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Ivens made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Renato Portalupi sent off a good shot on target. When Baltasar Remicio fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brujas KV's protests and gave Baltasar Remicio a yellow card for diving instead. Petruț Dicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Lawrence in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Brujas KV's Martin Mundo was substituted for Ilkay Gündoğan. Brujas KV's Conrado Romero was substituted for Torrey Molloy. The wind increased when Virgilio Lawrence made the kick off in the second half. If Ruperto Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Ivens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Domuță went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. KяαdivÄch3 FC's Benjamin Ivens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mundo in the 67th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Brujas KV's Codruț Domuță made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Ivens was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Pastor Hartz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Dicu. Brujas KV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Hartz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Conrado Romero struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Benjamin Ivens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brujas KV. Pastor Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Dicu having to interfere. Benjamin Ivens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Domuță in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Pastor Hartz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petruț Dicu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The throw-in from Manoel Cunha in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KяαdivÄch3 FC's Pastor Hartz. Petruț Dicu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Hartz's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
