After 25 played minutes La Acade got a freekick which was hit by Teófilo Amaro. After some careless play in the La Acade defense, Damaso Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blas Aritza. The La Acade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blas Aritza should have stopped the shot. Blas Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Kip William had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Máté Márton. Congo Bongo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kip William was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Kaj-Åke Kaká had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Máté Márton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 39th minute of the match. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Kip William blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máté Márton having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kip William to make the kick off. Máté Márton made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Leonard Lamczyk sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonard Lamczyk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Máté Márton. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Congo Bongo's Wu Hong Ning got a free kick in the 60th minute. Congo Bongo made a substitution. Arnaldo Oidor replaced Iker Atarrabi. Congo Bongo's Sergio Austin was substituted for Kaj-Åke Kaká. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Wu Hong Ning hit a great ball. Kip William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Máté Márton made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Kip William sent off a good shot on target. Congo Bongo's Máté Márton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip William in the 66th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Kip William who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Congo Bongo's Máté Márton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. La Acade's attentive David Abaurre managed to snatch the ball when Wu Hong Ning made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Damaso Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Máté Márton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Austin in the 78th minute of play. Máté Márton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Saturnin in the 80th minute of the match. Máté Márton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Saturnin in the 86th minute of play. La Acade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Congo Bongo the free kick.
