Juniors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Porfirio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Uriel Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Ur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Isias in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Ur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Leopoldo Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 16 in the game by Özgür Onur from a close distance when the talented Lázaro Colon managed to make a qualified save. Juniors FC's players were relieved. Lucio Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Isias in the 17th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Matias Panpili heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lucio Ur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Isias, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Lucio Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özgür Onur was the one to do the kick off. Potrero's Lu Lin Zhou was substituted for Mateusz Marajda. Juniors FC's Jerzy Piszczor was substituted for Daniel Loi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Frasco got free with Lucio Ur in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 minutes, Mustafa Barış Yorangil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Potrero and the Juniors FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrique Frasco scored 1-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucio Ur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C. A. Potrero's Ismael Lehior was substituted for Mustafa Barış Yorangil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Onur in the 75th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Frasco spun around in front of the goal 79 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of C. A. Potrero's goal. After 88 played minutes Enrique Frasco rounded C. A. Potrero's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Juniors FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wlodzimierz Lepper in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juniors FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
