Nestor Cortez came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Giro in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Perico in the 9th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Elpidio Francis sent off a good shot on target. Elpidio Francis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nestor Cortez came out and tried to block the shot, but Elpidio Francis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Perico in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Elpidio Francis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Elpidio Francis took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Petrică Măcriș got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Elpidio Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elpidio Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Saul Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Olle Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Snell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Giro came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Saul Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Basualdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Xu Ran Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Asteri. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lobos de Carelia for a fine match.
