After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Prospero Inguma managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Acade's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Inguma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kip William had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lázaro Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip William in the 13th minute of the match. Eduardo Gervaso made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Acade's Guillermo Soin. La Acade's attentive Teófilo Amaro managed to snatch the ball when Eduardo Gervaso made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Lázaro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kip William, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Isias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blas Aritza came out and tried to block the shot, but Uriel Isias slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Kip William sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lázaro Colon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kip William, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Inguma in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco was substituted for Uriel Isias. Juniors FC made a substitution. Jerzy Piszczor replaced Daniel Loi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Frasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip William in the 60th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes in the game Eduardo Gervaso did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jerzy Piszczor. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Frasco in the 64th minute of play. Guillermo Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. La Acade made a substitution. Osvaldo Cantero replaced Stelian Avram. La Acade's Felipe Saturnin was substituted for Kip William. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Guillermo Soin got a free kick in the 77th minute. Blas Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lázaro Colon came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by La Acade's Felipe Saturnin. But to his dismay, Felipe Saturnin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Guillermo Soin got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 98 minutes of play, Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Aritza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
