Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Melchor Loramendi's late challenge caught a Juniors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Loramendi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Loramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Uriel Isias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gualterio Inocente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Isias in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Inocente saved Leones FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Gartzea during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gualterio Inocente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Herensuge to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes, Juniors FC's Nicanor Porfirio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualterio Inocente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juniors FC reached it. Gualterio Inocente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Isias went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Uriel Isias might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Inocente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leones FC's Gualterio Inocente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Isias in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Loramendi. Nicanor Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Ambrosio Peio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Juniors FC made a substitution. Enrique Frasco replaced Uriel Isias. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Gartzea was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Enrique Frasco made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Inocente. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Inocente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juniors FC's attentive Nicanor Porfirio managed to snatch the ball when Atilano Perico made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Leones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Enrique Frasco scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Inocente, making the score, 0-9. Nicanor Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Leones FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Frasco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 74 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Perico. 75 minutes into the game, Enrique Frasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Gualterio Inocente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Gervaso came free, but Gualterio Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Frasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Inocente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. A hard shot 81 in the game by Enrique Frasco from a close distance when the talented Gualterio Inocente managed to make a qualified save. Leones FC's players were relieved. Enrique Frasco struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gualterio Inocente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juniors FC. If Enrique Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Gartzea kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When Enrique Frasco came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Juniors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Frasco couldn't finish the play.
