Petruț Dicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Dicu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 minutes Brujas KV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wlodzimierz Lepper who took care of the corner kick. Juniors FC's Wlodzimierz Lepper got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brujas KV's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Juniors FC had won, even though Brujas KV had held more of the ball.
