Costa Rica's Alfredo Zoido was substituted for Eliseo Noboa. In the 5th minute of the match Alan Moruga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fikri Muhammed showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Mathieu Ceulemans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 17th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fakir Štrikers short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 21st play minute Fakir Štriker came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 3-0. After 26 played minutes US DI BESTI FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaen Fresno. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when US DI BESTI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Baki Zafer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fikri Muhammed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fakir Štriker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fakir Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes of play US DI BESTI FC's Gerson Correia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gerson Correia hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Fikri Muhammed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Ahmet Baki Zafer notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. US DI BESTI FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
