The corner ended in Osvaldo Lander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Vallgren's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Douglas Vallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Vallgren in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Jämjö hitters's Douglas Vallgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Douglas Vallgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Douglas Vallgren slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Douglas Vallgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 3-0. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Zebastian Isaksson sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 30 minutes into the match, Jämjö hitters's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fredric Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jämjö hitters's Douglas Vallgren. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Guillermo Mariano put in a rough tackle. In the 32nd minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Jämjö hitters. Zebastian Isaksson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 5-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Vallgren in the 40th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Costa made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Marinot during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Jämjö hitters got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Marinot. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vincent Derveaux in the 53 minute of the game. Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Vincent Derveaux made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Jämjö hitters's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Gustafsson came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Isaksson in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jämjö hitters's Mark Salkvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 70 minutes into the match, Zebastian Isaksson notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Isaksson in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zebastian Isaksson went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Douglas Vallgren came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Jämjö hitters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Vallgren couldn't finish the play. Douglas Vallgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Jämjö hitters's Zebastian Isaksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jämjö hitters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osvaldo Lander in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Zebastian Isaksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jämjö hitters.
