The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oskar Beckström. Oskar Beckström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Ekman in the 54th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Beckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oskar Beckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Blomquist came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oskar Beckström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 69 played minutes White Hart Lane got a freekick which was hit by Knut Backman. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Oskar Beckström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 71 in the game by Luis Andino from a close distance when the talented Oskar Beckström managed to make a qualified save. White Hart Lane's players were relieved. White Hart Lane's Oskar Beckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save White Hart Lane from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by White Hart Lane's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 80th minute Olle Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olle Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Oskar Beckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 86th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oskar Beckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Peter Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
