Dawid Kochowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Rolando Noboa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The corner ended in Brent Goldsmith almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. 9 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bill Carmichael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bill Carmichael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Brent Goldsmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play forced Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes in the game Brent Goldsmith did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Wendell Conn. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Dawid Kochowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Topsail's Bill Carmichael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Sondang Prabowo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 38th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bill Carmichael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced Topsail's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bill Carmichael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bill Carmichael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Topsail made a substitution. Juliusz Julku replaced Sondang Prabowo.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dawid Kochowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Kochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bill Carmichael. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Bill Carmichael in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bill Carmichael saved Topsail from getting behind. Topsail's Bill Carmichael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Topsail from getting a goal against them. In the last second Bill Carmichael throw himself and got hold of the ball when Julian Murillo in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 94th minute Juliusz Julku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bill Carmichael. Topsail's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Gallo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Topsail.
