Wayan Freeman hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 21 minutes in the game Javan Develder did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kordal Duff. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Ardeleanu in the 22nd minute of play. Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romon Oliver in the 25th minute of the match. Javan Develder got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kordal Duff. After 30 minutes, Javan Develder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the FC Berea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Javan Develder. When Kordal Duff fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Kordal Duff a yellow card for diving instead. A sloppy throw-in by Kordal Duff in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Berea's Gigi Ardeleanu. Gigi Ardeleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toader Buzoianu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Demonde Jacobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Berea. Berea Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Karlus Waugh hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. FC Berea's Dacian Iurea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Berea from getting a goal against them. Leron Sale charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leron Sale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, FC Berea's Dacian Iurea got control of the ball when Finlay Stair tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Martin Coraș made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. FC Berea made a substitution. Codruț Plop replaced Berea Avram. After 71 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Arotăriței. Jamaica's Finlay Stair shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dacian Iurea but with some difficulty. 74 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Berea Matei came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berea Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Iurea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
