Timmy Skog started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Timmy Skog tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Panama booed when BK Gunilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timmy Skog in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, Sven-Åke Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Timmy Skog kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. BK Gunilla's Axel Thidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Miralles in the 22nd minute of play. Axel Thidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 23rd minute of play. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Smitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Thidén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Miguel Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of BK Gunilla booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, BK Gunilla's Timmy Skog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of BK Gunilla booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. In the 64th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Axel Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Panama booed when BK Gunilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Åke Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Thidén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panama's Aaron Barrios suffered a sprained foot after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 81 minutes into the game, Timmy Skog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Gunilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. A collision led to BK Gunilla getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Timmy Skog hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Axel Thidén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Axel Thidén in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Alguacil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 91st playminute. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
