Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 4th minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 10 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute of the match Köppens Kamrater got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erling Johansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Erling Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Dan Falkrantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 30th minute of play. Dan Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Ove Lindsten was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Meireles in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Jens-Ove Lindsten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jens-Ove Lindsten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jens-Ove Lindsten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Köppens Kamrater's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ove Lindsten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Meireles in the 72nd minute of play. The Köppens Kamrater fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Köppens Kamrater's Jens-Ove Lindsten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Köppens Kamrater were the better team. Köppens Kamrater's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
