With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Duarte in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 5th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Pablo Vegetti in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 10th minute of the match CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filinto Ferro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 11th minute of play. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 23rd minute Pablo Vegetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Golo Duarte. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Golo Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Duarte came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Vegetti in the 46th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Duarte Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Golo Duarte made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Duarte Duarte however easily saved by the left post. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Duarte in the 58th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Lacasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Lacasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 66th minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Mariano Lacasa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Duarte Duarte, passed just outside the right post. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 87 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Casaus. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Rodolfo Lencastre was substituted for Pablo Vegetti. 90 minutes into the match, Golo Duarte notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Duarte came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
