The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Cwynar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximiliano Escribano went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Moneteria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Bruno Beldad scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Cwynar, making the score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Daniel Cwynar in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
