Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Saelices in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petrică Ştefoi saved Club Atletico Juanita from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Petrică Ştefoi. Club Atletico Juanita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Epifanio Orlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Orlan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petrică Ştefoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Orlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Juanita's Edgardo Matteo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Camilo Gisbert in the 45 minute of the game. After 47 played minutes Club Atletico Juanita got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Jaszcz. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Orlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Orlan struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Juanita. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Juanita's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petrică Ştefoi came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Epifanio Orlan took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 61st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Petrică Ştefoi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petrică Ştefoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Montenegro's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Juanita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Luis Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 91st minute Reynaldo Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Juanita's Edgardo Matteo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Orlan in the 94th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Orlan in the 95th minute of the match. Club Atletico Juanita's Epifanio Orlan got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Juanita throughout the match.
