Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Dembowski got the match started through his kick off. When Hugo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Hugo Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CF Apaches booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Julian Dembowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Dembowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Dembowski ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, CF Apaches was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Granville to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Dembowski in the 29th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Géza Kodály ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 46 played minutes CF Apaches got a freekick which was hit by Ritchie Granville. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Dembowski went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Kosakowski in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After 60 minutes of play, CF Apaches's Bogdan Kosakowski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Géza Kodály recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Ferrant lost his temper 65 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Damiano Antonangeli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Damiano Antonangeli slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Dembowski. CF Apaches's Bogdan Kosakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bogdan Kosakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CF Apaches's Zygmunt Dudzik was substituted for Julian Dembowski. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The supporters of CF Apaches booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CF Apaches were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
