The audience was convinced that Romon Oliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto de Azevedo was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton do Vale in the 30th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleiton do Vale made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Romon Oliver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. the free kick. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Cleiton do Vale took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute Karlus Waugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. defense, Jarell Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto de Azevedo. The C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karlus Waugh in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leron Sale came free, but Humberto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleiton do Vale in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. After 87 minutes, Jarell Hill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Humberto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlus Waugh, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
