RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Mustafa Arif Devrim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Quinito got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Donzel in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Reynaldo Quinito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thodoris Katsiaros tried in the game's 57th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Mustafa Arif Devrim. An annoying self made goal, 1-1. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mustafa Arif Devrim in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Felipe Jaume notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldão Fenomeno went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mustafa Arif Devrim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Fenomeno in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
