Birila Graña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Beltxe came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Claretiano FC defense, Deng Shu Kuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birila Graña. The Claretiano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birila Graña should have stopped the shot.

In the 56th minute Maurinho Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lisandro Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Claretiano FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ruben Malta hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, Alvinegro de Tupã's Lapurdi Jaramillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Birila Graña came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvinegro de Tupã reached it. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvinegro de Tupã's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurinho Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
