Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fidel Jokin kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 8th minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Miguel Castanheira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vipos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 16th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Castanheira. Gervasio Ixaka came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 23rd minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th play minute Rafa Santos Borré came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Jokin came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Ixaka was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Santos Borré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Gervasio Ixaka came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Ixaka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Fidel Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Vipos FC's Miguel Castanheira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. After 73 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. A collision led to Vipos FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nasos Aquilino hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mayer Candelo in the 81st minute of the match. Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Alberto Tafalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 90th minute of play. When Facundo Cadaval fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Facundo Cadaval a yellow card for diving instead. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Santos Borré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
