An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Cholachat Coolcat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 王 江志锋 in the 13th minute of play. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cholachat Coolcat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cholachat Coolcat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Pajala Sunrise's goalkeeper Cholachat Coolcat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Cholachat Coolcat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doug Las Casas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cholachat Coolcat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, 王 江志锋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and 王 江志锋 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Doug Las Casas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doug Las Casas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 65 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Börje Axelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pajala Sunrise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Börje Axelsson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Heggert to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Andino made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Zorita. In the 83rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Stig Larsson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Friberger in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Börje Axelsson hit a great ball. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pajala Sunrise to leave the ground with a draw.
