Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ovidiu Poenaru started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 8 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Rea Selbert. Wellington Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Ovidiu Poenaru came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcus Terstappen, made in the 40th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, José Pedro Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. In the 53rd minute Ovidiu Poenaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Cerezo in the 66th minute of play. Marcus Terstappen made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. Matthieu Richardot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Pedro Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerold Zollt made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Baumbach was substituted for Chris Kursawe. After having played for 90 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Wellington Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Wellington Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DJK Füchtel Vechta had won after a very even match.
