After 4 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Giec. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Zeng Chong Kang charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeng Chong Kang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Zeng Chong Kang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göksel Canfeda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after istanbulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Göksel Canfeda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göksel Canfeda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play forced istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göksel Canfeda was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Alp Enginalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Göksel Canfeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 57th minute, but when Daniel Zorita was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Göksel Canfeda made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Canfeda having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Luís Senna made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Göksel Canfeda made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 65 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Giec. When Aleksander Giec fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbulls's protests and gave Aleksander Giec a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksander Giec hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Göksel Canfeda, 1-5. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Göksel Canfeda made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alp Enginalp in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Luis Andino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göksel Canfeda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than istanbulls.
