In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind istanbulls's goalkeeper Göksel Canfeda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Chong Kang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. istanbulls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İsmail Doğa in the 35th minute. The corner led istanbulls's İsmail Doğa to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Canfeda having to interfere. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Göksel Canfeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alp Enginalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Göksel Canfeda was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. Göksel Canfeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeng Chong Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkay Şahiner to maneuver through the defense. Berkay Şahiner kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göksel Canfeda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Luís Senna made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Giec in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Luís Senna sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 89 minutes in the game, Patricio Costa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Göksel Canfeda having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Berkay Şahiner threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
