Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jonas Hellqvist in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

In the 81st minute of the match StraX Xenon FC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pelle Smedfeldt ran over to the corner to take the kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jonas Hellqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 96th minute. Sigvard Frykberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. StraX Xenon FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
