The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RKS Królewscy's Emil Malik. Emil Malik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Malik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, RKS Królewscy's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sérgio Ramos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Malik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Richie in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when RKS Królewscy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chrisostomos Vourlis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute RKS Królewscy were awarded a corner. Gualterio Richie went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sérgio Ramos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 36 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gualterio Richie who took care of the corner kick. Yancho Beykov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gualterio Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot. RKS Królewscy's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Richie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Richie to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Emil Malik in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 57th minute. Emil Malik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, RKS Królewscy's goalkeeper Emil Malik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. RKS Królewscy's Emil Malik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save RKS Królewscy from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Malik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gualterio Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute Gualterio Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Richie might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Richie ran back to his position shaking his head.
