Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Diego Bradley threw the ball into play from the sideline. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Eustacio Ikatz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sahnoyan Ayyıldız in the 23rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sahnoyan Ayyıldız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomil Ziomkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 47th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso da Cunha made a kick off. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Ziomkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Afonso da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Gustavo da Silva replaced David Brás. 70 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso da Cunha. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 76th minute of play. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 78th minute of play. Marco Day had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Afonso da Cunha from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 85th minute of the match. Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baker in the 94th minute of play. Sam Campbell scored 3-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludomil Ziomkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that USA were the better team. USA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
