Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Fernan Senin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Per Klesper in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Christian Webber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Klesper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 20th minute of the match. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Taisto Leppänen sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. 28 minutes into the match, Taisto Leppänen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taisto Leppänen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Senin went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Rostock the free kick. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Taisto Leppänen sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Taisto Leppänen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Taisto Leppänen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Taisto Leppänen notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taisto Leppänen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 85th minute, AC Rostock's Sebastian Cengiz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. 90 minutes into the match, Taisto Leppänen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita.
