Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Abancens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taisto Leppänen in the 11th minute of play. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Per Klesper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. When Benito Madrid fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Benito Madrid a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Benito Madrid got a free kick in the 17th minute. Fernan Senin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Taisto Leppänen in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Freixa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When AC Rostock's Taisto Leppänen in 22 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Camilo Freixa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Fernan Senin managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Rostock's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Senin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taisto Leppänen in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Fernan Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Gilberto Abancens dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa, 5-0. 42 minutes into the game, Taisto Leppänen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Taisto Leppänen took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Fernan Senin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Taisto Leppänen scored 9-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Taisto Leppänen came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Christian Webber advanced and headed the ball into goal, 10-0 in the 63rd minute. AC Rostock made a substitution. Kenneth Schmidt replaced Marc Thalberg. AC Rostock's Obbo Ngnoubamdjum was substituted for Gilberto Abancens. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Taisto Leppänen went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso de la Cruz. Sebastian Cengiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Cengiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Cengiz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute, Taisto Leppänen made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Fernan Senin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Cengiz in the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Rostock had played much better football throughout.
