Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taisto Leppänen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Fernan Senin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Fernan Senin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taisto Leppänen in the 31st minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Senin in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes in the game, Fernan Senin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 36th minute, Sebastian Cengiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Rostock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 40th minute Gilberto Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Fernan Senin made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. Finlay Stair charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Finlay Stair the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AC Rostock booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finlay Stair didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Sebastian Cengiz scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 0-10. A collision led to AC Rostock getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Peer Jöckel hit a great ball. AC Rostock made a substitution. Reiner Riedel replaced Peer Jöckel. In the 71st match minute, AC Rostock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peer Jöckel to maneuver through the defense. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onwuemelie Onwuachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Sebastian Cengiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Onwuemelie Onwuachi went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Sebastian Cengiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-13. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Sebastian Cengiz scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 0-14. In the 95th minute, Obbo Ngnoubamdjum made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. AC Rostock's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
