When The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was a well-played corner which Li Fei Xu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 17th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Bastian Von Axelson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Basso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
