After a rather tough play, Apocalipse FC's Reinaldo Valladares got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Eliseo Noboa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antônio de Azevedo. The goal made the score 1-0. Luís Fábio Vale lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Abel Carballo made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Apocalipse FC's Doriva Loyola. In the 43rd minute of the game Efrain Moruga made a throw-in which Aaron Alcocer played forward. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Serafim de Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. Apocalipse FC's attentive Doriva Loyola managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Abel Carballo in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Apocalipse FC's Doriva Loyola. Antônio de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Noboa went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio de Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Tiago Gabriel Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Apocalipse FC's Doriva Loyola quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 89 minutes into the match, Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Apocalipse FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
