Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 14th minute of play. Abel Carballo made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Apocalipse FC's Luís Fábio Vale. 19 minutes in the game Juan Rubio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Puig. Apocalipse FC's Tiago Gabriel Brodel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 23 minute of the game. Efrain Moruga made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Noboa however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Doriva Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Doriva Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antônio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apocalipse FC's Tiago Gabriel Brodel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 71 minute of the game. After 88 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Apocalipse FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
