Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicolae Bosioc started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Rădvan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolae Bosioc in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niculae Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 33rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Viorel Iacobescu sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Rădvan came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Dan Burdujan replaced Filip Braia. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Viorel Iacobescu hit a great ball. Sandu Porumbescu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Niculae Rădvan made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Ciprian Halipa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the game Ciprian Halipa made a throw-in which Cristi Ciprian played forward. After 72 minutes of play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Viorel Iacobescu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 75th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Pintilie in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Pintilie came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Niculae Rădvan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 87th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Luca Rouco to score against Niculae Rădvan in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal. 2-2 after 87 minutes. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
