Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Horaţiu Pintilie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Horaţiu Pintilie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niculae Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 10th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Bosioc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nicolae Bosioc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Horaţiu Pintilie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Rădvan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viorel Iacobescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Viorel Iacobescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viorel Iacobescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelian Odobescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Aurelian Odobescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 45 minutes, Horaţiu Pintilie made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Dan Burdujan replaced Filip Braia. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolae Bosioc to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Bosioc in the 53rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Niculae Rădvan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicolae Bosioc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Niculae Rădvan made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niculae Rădvan came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 64th minute. Ciprian Halipa struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. When FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Cristi Ciprian in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ferdinand Vrejiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Ciprian came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Vrejiu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC PIETROSUL -MM- could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
