The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to MKS Mazur Ełk getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Waclaw Bierfass hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Dorigatti came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waclaw Bierfass charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waclaw Bierfass the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waclaw Bierfass hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Dobromir Raszkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the MKS Mazur Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Raszkiewicz couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Michel Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STAL ST WOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dobromir Raszkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Matai having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the game Damian Hodas made a throw-in which Gustaw Bendyk played forward. MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 22nd minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Matai came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Mazur Ełk's Armando Dorigatti. But to his dismay, Armando Dorigatti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Dorigatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Nakoneczny to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes, Damian Hodas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the STAL ST WOLA and the MKS Mazur Ełk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damian Hodas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Armando Dorigatti took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Matai. Roman Matai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Armando Dorigatti came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the MKS Mazur Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Dorigatti couldn't finish the play. Armando Dorigatti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Matai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Dorigatti to make the kick off. Artaç Hendekli scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cezary Sitko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Zygmunt Bielejewski. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 61st minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Armando Dorigatti came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the MKS Mazur Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Dorigatti couldn't finish the play. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Dorigatti in the 64th minute of the match. Roman Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Dorigatti's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Cezary Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artaç Hendekli in the 75th minute of the match. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save STAL ST WOLA from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Dorigatti in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Matai saved STAL ST WOLA from getting behind. MKS Mazur Ełk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juliusz Jerzyk in the 83rd minute.

MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
